Warning in ZAFSTD
« on: May 30, 2014, 01:43:24 PM »
John,

I get a warning when I open several previously run files. For example, when I open a file for processing that I ran Thurs night, I see the following (in red):

WARNING in ZAFSTD- Standard  12 total is only 85.824 wt.%

I've only got 9 standards in the run, and as far as absolute std number, I don't have a standard "12." All my standards are 1xx, 2xx, etc. What exactly does this mean? I can't figure out what it refers to.

This message is intended to warn about standards in the standard.mdb file which may not be complete compositions, but in this case it is spurious. If you update again, this warning will go away!

Sorry for the trouble.

John - if I'm seeing this error, does this mean there is a mismatch between the standards in the STANDARD.MDB file and the standards recorded in the database, or that there is actually a potential problem with the composition?
It is my fault- it is a spurious error. Just update PFE again and all will be well.

Thanks!

Out of interest, what is the error actually supposed to be referring to?

I was trying to make the standard k-factor calculation more accurate when duplicate elements are present, but I had a version out for a short time that calculated the standard sum incorrectly.  It is all fixed now.
