Damaged polymer window
« on: June 25, 2019, 03:32:12 AM »
Hi all,

I've damaged the polymer window on our Oxford EDS detector head. It disintegrated with an inrush of air. What level of vacuum is required in these units, and how would it be pumped down after repair? Or is the new window fitted under vacuum? Any advice welcome, thanks.

Hi Dave,

Is this an SDD or a SiLi detector with a dewar?
