Fe Ll mac
« on: August 01, 2017, 05:10:17 AM »
Hi,

I notice in PFE the FFAST mac Fe Ll in Fe is listed as 2610.3 whilst in Gopon's paper its listed as 2765 for FFAST - any ideas which is right?

In Calczaf Fe Ll Fe is a typo  its listed as 12092.77 which is Fe Lb in Fe

Thanks

Ben

Hi Ben,

When I use my polynomial interpolation program, I get mu/rho = 2614 cm2/g for X-ray energy = 615.2 eV (from Bearden) in pure Fe.  I can send you a copy of the program if you want.

I've just checked and in calczaf program - the quantification uses the correct MAC like PFE - its just the displayed mac - i.e. when you click 'display emitter absorber pair' . Oddly enough not when you click show MAC table - here its correct.

Hi Ben,
Good catch.

It's just a display issue for that menu, which I have already fixed and will upload later today.

Thanks.

Hi Ben,
The latest CalcZAF 11.9.6 is fixed for this display issue and ready to download.  Note that because I didn't bump the version number you should run the update/install twice, the 2nd time being a "repair" to get the updated exe.

Hi John,

Thanks, correct mac displayed

Ben

Since I bumped the version number to 11.9.7 this weekend, one does not need to run the installer twice.
