Pixel Dwell Time
« on: November 03, 2014, 01:38:08 AM »
Hi John,

why is the Pixel Dwell Time not taken into account when entering the image parameters in the calcimage quant dialogue?

I have plenty of maps here I would like to quantify and they have a pixel dwell time of 0.2 sec and the grd files are in counts.

It would be fantastic if you could implement this.

Cheers
Philipp

Hi Philipp,
Because the GRD files need to be converted to cps.  PI produces raw data files already in counts per sec (and there is no way to know that just from reading the GRD data), so you will have to do the same.

It will be easy, just use the Grid | Math menu in Surfer.
