NIST is in the process of designing replacement glasses for SRMs 610, 612, and 614. As part of that design process the three certificates of analysis were reviewed, and 28 elements were identified as only “incorporated” in the three SRMs and not given any values. These elements are listed at the end of the email. As some of the comments NIST has heard about these three SRMs include issues with spectral and isobar interference due to the large number of elements (61 in total) incorporated in the wafers, we would like to request information from the community as to whether any of the identified 28 elements are useful for your measurements. We strive to make sure new replacement SRMs do not reduce functionality, so if these elements are useful then we will request them to be included in the replacement glasses.
