atomic percent quantitative output
« on: July 15, 2020, 04:29:40 PM »
I know this is a weird question, but here goes...
When doing a quantitative analysis, one can output data in weight percent or atomic percent.  In doing the latter, at some point the element's atomic mass is used in the conversion.

For those of us whose work involves elements that are not in natural abundance and who therefore may have different atomic masses, is there a place in the software to change the mass?

Hi Karen,
You can simply edit the elements.dat file.   This is found in the ProgramData\Probe Software\Probe for EPMA folder.
