Come and see Steve Seddio's exciting upcomng webinar on WDS of Moon Rocks. Steve no longer has his own microprobe. He traded that in for an SEM with our EDS and our Magnaray WDS spectrometer. Even though he only has 1 WDS spectrometer on the microscope, he's still doing some very good WDS work. He'll talk about lots of interesting and important concepts in EDS/WDS mapping. He will draw some very nice distinctions between (1) rigorous, quantitative EDS/WDS work during mapping and (2) the "quick-and-easy" but not really very accurate EDS mapping that is typically performed and reported.
The webinar is Tuesday, Nov. 11 at 9 AM eastern time and then repeated in the afternoon.
