Cameca water temperature warning
« on: November 12, 2018, 04:50:43 PM »
Lately we've been getting this water temperature warning from the PeakSight software (v. 6.2):

Does anyone know where on the instrument this temperature is being measured?

Hi John
As far as I understand it, its on the water safety board in that little black housing to the far right of the bubblers. See temp sensor on poor quality image attached....

Cheers

Hi Ben,
This is very helpful, thanks!

On my Sx100 it looks like this:

Hi John
Yes that is the same as on the SXFive. Also my apologies, I am getting confused. That board contains the red LED for telling you if the temperature is OK or not (if its ON its not...), and has the water reset switch on it and solenoid control, but I think the actual thermocouple is on the sequencer board which is behind the panel on the low voltage PS at your feet when you are sitting at the probe. I have attached a file given to my by a Cameca engineer when I had some trouble with it last year.

Cheers
