Hi,
I thought I'd start a topic with tips and tricks for JEOL.
Did you know that you can acquire multiple types of images simultaneously in the software? You just need to go to the "View" menu (example here from the PC-SEM version), choose Dual or Quad etc view, select the desired channels (SEI, BSE, CL etc) and hit the photo button. It will acquire the images at the set conditions (resolution, dwell time) on all of your selected image channels.
This can be a real time saver for slow image acquisitions (max resolution or long dwell time) or for beam sensitive samples. Of course, you cannot acquire BSE and TOPO simultaneously as this is using the same detector.
