Somebody changed standard.mdb
« on: August 22, 2022, 09:42:54 PM »
Hi everyone,
Could you help me to open my old *.mdb file.
The problem is: somebody changed standard.mdb file and didn't save its old version.
Program creates the temp. version of standard.mdb file but it contains only 2 standards and program still couldn't use my *.mdb file.

Thank you!

I'm sure your lab manager has a backup copy of the standard database!  You do know that nothing digital actually exists unless it in more than one place!

 ;D

If Probe for EPMA can't find the standards from your probe run database, in the standard database, it tries to create a temporary copy, but some standards might be missing if they were added but not acquired.

Otherwise you'll have to enter them again by hand (or import them again from the JEOL software if that's where they originally came from).
The only stupid question is the one not asked!
