Lecture Notes and Powerpoints
« on: August 05, 2015, 07:43:16 AM »
This board is for sharing and discussing all aspects of EPMA (and SEM) education and training. This includes lecture notes, powerpoints, virtual instrument software tools, and lab exercises and  anyone else can think of that might be useful for this purpose.

To start things off I am linking below to my UofO EPMA lecture page which contains my power points and lecture notes. But I need to remark that these powerpoints, many of which I modified from Dale Newbury and John Fournelle), are in the process of being fully updated by Julie Chouinard.  I hope she will share them here when they are completed.

Following a discussion on the SX-50 email list, here is a PDF discussing the ZAF correction procedure. I've used this in my EPMA class, and this presentation is heavily inspired from Mike Jercinovic at UMass Amherst. Thanks to him! Enjoy!
