PENEPMA Instruction Manual
« on: September 12, 2014, 12:56:13 PM »
Hello everyone,

I've created a brief instruction manual for use of PENEPMA for secondary fluorescence corrections. This manual will help you make those corrections to your EPMA data for both boundary conditions and for more complex geometries (i.e., spheres). If you have any questions, feel free to ask. Hope this helps!

Edit by John: Nice! Thank-you from all of us. This will be very helpful for everyone. Note that the extraction of k-ratios from Penepma is now quite automated. See this post:

Note that I've recently re-calculated all the pure elements at 7200 sec per beam energy for better precision.

This might be a good time to update your Penepma 12 distribution:

The only stupid question is the one not asked!
