CalcZAF Open Source On OpenMicroAnalysis
« on: August 13, 2015, 02:19:24 PM »
As some of you may know, we have open sourced the physics code for CalcZAF on the OpenMicroAnalysis Google Group started by Philippe Pinard and Hendrix Demers.

Philippe did a nice job and, as I and others continue to update the code (new fluorescence correction coming soon with collaboration with Philippe Pinard and Karsten Goemann!), the Python script Philippe wrote will allow for a quick update of the CalcZAF Github project.

It looks pretty cool and one can easily browse the source code files easily as seen here:

The CalcZAF source code repository on the Open Microanalysis Github site stopped auto-synchronizing sometime in March:

However, Philippe Pinard modified the script and it seems to be working again.   Thank-you Philippe!
